As a Battery Engineer at Taiga Motors, I have been able to apply the knowledge and skills I gained during my Bachelor's degree in Power and Energy Engineering Technology at McMaster University. Prior to joining Taiga, I was an Undergraduate Research Assistant at the McMaster Automotive Resource Centre, where I conducted cell characterization tests and worked on custom testing equipment. As the Team Captain at MAC Formula Electric, I led a team of engineering students to design and build a Formula-style electric race car. This experience allowed me to hone my leadership, project management, and technical skills while working on a tight deadline. In my current role, I am responsible for designing, testing, and validating battery systems for Taiga's electric vehicles. I work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the battery systems meet performance, cost, and safety requirements.
